Pretty Birds – The Pfauen Like You’ve Never Seen Before

I finally got around to dyeing my own pfau! I’ve had this idea bouncing in my head for quite a while and finally got the chance to implement it this weekend. It’s a little out of my comfort zone in terms of colors I normally wear, but I wanted something different in my stash.

I love the comfort of pfau in a ruck tied under the bum. It’s thin and easy to wrap with but still very comfortable on the shoulders and remains in place with even a single knot. I love how the two different colors look in the tail under the bum.. purple and green!

Makes me feel oh so pretty!

And also quite comfy in a reinforced-rear-rebozo ruck, with a slip knot.

And my favorite carry lately, rebozo.

Look how neat that looks in a slipknot.

Looks like a regular old boring solid dye job from the back.

I know the toddler likes it, and that’s all that really matters!

And the winner is…

The winner of the random drawing for the wrap scrap contest is Jodi! Nobody got it 100% right, but there were some great guesses!
